I agree, but it was still unfair that they added it that week. They should have given everybody a week's notice atleast, and allowed The Eagles to debut at #1 the following week with the same sales.

Her best album!! I just bough it the other day.
I'm still so confused, why in hell did she not promote this? Why did she only release 3 singles and why was one of the videos a cartoon? What a mess.
Get Naked should have been a single, she always leaves her best work unreleased.
She'll never learn.

The album suffered lack of promotion because her life was a mess at the time. There were plans for a re-release, which in my opinion they should have done, but they went ahead and worked on Circus instead.

Before the Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden" (which was released the same week as "Blackout,") albums sold exclusively at one retailer were unable to chart on the Billboard 200. It was originally supposed to be re-released in June 2008 with new material, while "Radar" was supposed to be released as the fourth single with the video shot in England, directed by Britney. "Hot As Ice" was supposed to be a single as well.

However, we all know why it didn't happen.

Later they scrapped the re-release plans, rush-recorded "Circus" and started focusing on her media comeback.

So is Blackout download week real? If it is, someone should find a way to get the word out, and then it can top the charts. DO it on a week where there are no big releases.

Why Billboard didn't change the rule in 2005 when Garth Brooks sold more than half
a million copies on its first day of sales with a Walmart exclusive? You have to wonder. I guess Billboard liked more The Eagles than Garth Brooks then because Garth couldn't even chart on the Billboard 200.

This is one fo her best albums of her career but her hard complicated life she was having at that time didn't help her to promote this album in the way it deserved. I hope it will continue selling a lot more.
