I knew she was a mess, but damn, I never thought she'd die.
This is so sad. I was never a huge fan or anything, but still. I was always waiting for her to have her own comeback. Some even said that she'd snatch Adele's wig. Hopefully she's in a better place. So sad.
It's just one of those things. If you've lost the will to get out of your addiction and don't have anybody close to you pushing you to get help and stick with it then public concern isn't going to do much.
But look at the way we all reacted to her comeback concert. We all should have known she was very close to dying.
Wow, I can't help but feel that Amy had a plan to do this so she could be part of Club 27. What a tragedy. She, along now with Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Curt Cobain and Jim Morrison all dead at age 27. Stardom is a tough road for some people. RIP.
Is it sad and a tragic loss of talent? Yes. It is surprising? Hell no.
This is what drugs do, she has had no desire to quit them and when people are addicted to a substance they become tolerant to the drug so they have to up the dose to get a high and there is only so much a body can take. We all saw this coming, I hope she finds peace wherever she is now but she realistically did this to herself, she was self destructive. Think of the innocent people in Norway and gain some perspective. It is sad but it was also inevitable.
