As of Today i officially support (I don't use the word stan) harder for Beyonce more than anyone else. As a someone born in Houston and as someone who has Creole roots in them. I feel as if it's my duty to defend what is ours. It just wouldn't feel right to put Beyonce over anyone else. Especially since we have so much in common. 4 has really made me appreciate Beyonce more than i already did.. To be more specific "I Was Here". Its like she was telling me that you can make it it too. If you work hard & follow your dreams. and meant even more since we both come from middle class families. Yes Rihanna has a special place in my heart that no one can take but I feel Beyonce deserves it more. If you take away GGGB, Rated R. LOUD & her image. Rihanna would've never caught my eye. Let alone be my fav. Beyonce has always been consistent with her music and always had something for me to relate too. Rather it be self-esteem issues, relationship issues or just feel good music. I can't think of a time where i wasn't bopping to a DC3 or Bey track in my 18 years of life. It's like she's grown with me. In fact the first CD i ever bought was "Dangerously in Love". I even remember singing "Baby Boy" in my bed at the age 9 thinking about my first crush. but to get to the point. Beyonce > Rihanna. I still love you Riri but Beyonce is more entitled to taking the #1 spot in my heart. Anything less would've been a crime.
