Stanning for an artist is one thing, but for many of us Britney isn't just an artist...she's family and I would be lying if I said that some of the things that people or the media said about her didn't hurt me personally.

Absolutely. I started loving her when I was in elementary school and now I'm in college. I grew up with Britney and she will always hold a very significant place in my life. It goes beyond just fandom and into a very sincere, but inexplicable, emotional place. No matter how things may change, at its core, my feelings for Britney will never die.
