TEOG lost some audience today !? Why ?

I am so with you. The world needs to hear this song. I think it's the perfect single to take the album into the Christmas period

Because of the rolling effect from Z100.

The radio chart is not cumulative, it is rolling, which means the update for whatever day it is made in comparison to the same day of the previous week. EOG had huge increases last week from being put in power rotation (songs go in and out). Now that it's been rotated out, it wasn't able to have the same increase.

But really, the thing that matters for getting the #1 on Pop is the amount of spins (not that audience impressions aren't important, obviously), and it saw a healthy increase in that regard, so this is not indicative of radio suddenly turning its back on it.

Basically, its Pop update is lower than last week due to the audience loss being removed from power on Z100. The effect will last until next Tuesday (although the updates may not be negative).

Wouldn't TEOG have been a more appropriate choice for that?

What the hell does RITD have to do with the NBA? It's hardly the appropriate choice of song...
