It would have helped more than what we're seeing now for sure - look at Judas, it had a great boost on iTunes before TEOG came up and killed it.
Look at LFN - the video made it #1 on iTunes so fast, same thing happened with Bad Romance.
But TEOG had already sold 849.000 before the video release... BR had sold less than 300k and LFN had barely sold anything. Need we even discuss Judas' sales?

TEOG is not done- it may not peak higher than #3 on Billboard, but I certainly see it going up from #7 this week, and it will continue to climb the TOP 40 and Airplay charts... her update was great today, will probably slow down a bit until z100 puts it back on power rotation, but it is not like we are getting negative updates so saying the song has peaked is illogical.

Agreed. I don't see LFN going #1 either. It'll be blocked by Adele then LMFAO.
