I will definitely get in, I was living for "Bring It Back" & Make It Rain" the past few days until "Best..." just came out.
I don't really like it. But it's better than RTW, I guess.
Some places in the song she sang somewhat un-Beyonce-ish, like she's another artist. I don't know what to feel about that but I guess she's getting bored with her signature tone. I'm kinda conflicted with that. It kinda cuts off the flow.
Hopefully other songs from her album does better on my taste bud.
Maybe because she's using more of her live voice this album, so it's gonna sound different compared to her other albums that are a little higher pitched.

I guess you never heard her live because she has been giving me concert teas with every single she has released thus far. This album to me is showing the real her where she doesn't hold back on her vocals but instead goes all out. I love it

Break-ups aren't seasonal though, I'll say this song is more about a summer love that didn't quite happen so it's still a summer song. It could be a hit, you'll never know considering this song isn't going to compete with the rest of the pie this summer.

This would be considered way more radio-friendly like 5-10 years ago on mainstream radio. Now, not so much. Although, it does sound urban-friendly. So I guess it's commercial on that format. UAC too.
