Just wondering, when are the performers for the VMA's usually announced?

Well, looking at the last 4 updates, it's stabilizing.

People overrate the 2009 VMA performance b/c most of them thought Lady Gaga was a "basic pop star" incapable of giving a good performance and she literally had to bleed onstage to make them sit up and take notice. But she's given better performances, including this year.

It was obvious even from the Just Dance video that Gaga wasn't a basic pop star and that she had a lot of presence.

Because saying "I don't like this fashion as much as I liked the old fashion" implies I like this era's even a bit, when I don't.

Hope so. Either way, it's doing well being around 76% of Adele without a video and with only around 25% of Adele's airplay...

Lol people are overracting. The era is good so far, the only thing is that there is some flaws that maybe we didn't see in the other eras as much as now, like the Judas-TEOG situation.

I was so happy when the Judas video premiered - it has been since the Telephone premiere that I hadn't been so impressed by her MV. And 5 days later, they throw Judas in the garbage, wow

How? Both Just Dance & Poker Face videos are basic. The Poker Face is terrible. Worst wig ever.

Perhaps people don't have a British perspective on Gaga's situation. As far as we're concerned, she has already flopped - LoveGame got to #19. We know she can rebound.

Gaga, I don't think, is ever going to top the VMA performance.

I don't know if this has been posted but in addition to the 'UR Fave International Video' Category for Born This Way.. (which you need to vote at HERE http://bit.ly/k8vV5u),

Gaga has always been nominated for Judas for 'International Video of The Year' (which is not decided by voters, rather by Much Music).

Alejandro is also a contender for Most Watched Video of the Year (counter runs from June to June)

To be honest, though, while I think the JD video fits the song perfectly, I think that video, of all her videos, is her most 'basic-popstar-ish'.

I wish all of you would just shut the **** up . If you dislike Luc, Laurianne, Nicola or her mutha ****in mother, aint **** you can do about it. At the end of the day if she wants these people to influence her career, they will. Spamming Interscope will get you know where. Running your mouths on ATRL about how her fashion is "horrible" will get you no where. Equating your ignorant opinions as factual information will get you no where. Shut that **** up.

I honestly think the Just Dance & Poker Face videos were parodies of videos basic girls are supposed to make. The sudden difference between Paparazzi & those videos is pleasantly alarming.

LoveGame could fit with JD & Poker Face but that was a transition video.

THANK YOU. I've been saying this since the beginning. She knew Just Dance was exactly the kind of song and video that would make her popular, and since then she's been moving toward what SHE wants to do, now that she has an audience. No one else seems to realize this.
