I would have assumed it would have been just a wee bit higher since Interscope shipped 2 million copies? o_o

Either way, that's still a good first week sales prediction, albeit it doesn't pull a Teenage Dream. (No shade, it's just a fact that it underperformed on first week sales).

Based on what they do the early predictions? Pre-orders?

HDD predicted 500k for Taylor Swift too. Don't read too much into early predictions, the Wednesday ones will be more accurate; that's when Speak Now's estimation was raised to 900-1m.

They are quite literally complete estimations. I already said, they predicted Taylor Swift would do 500k; and Katy Perry 400k

They have Videophone/Telephone now.
