Chris is at 534k, Britney at 497k. They are only 35k-40k apart, so he's not "definitely closer". Stop being dramatic. And Jive probably hasn't shipped 1 million copies of F.A.M.E.. They should consider it since his album sales are holding up, though.

She's not being dramatic at all, it's the actual truth. chris is selling more than britney and he released a week before her, so it's unfair to him for not being certified platinum already while britney is when she's not holding strong..

It is dramatized to say he's closer when they are barely apart. If he were at 900k and she where she is, sure, but no. And does it not make logical sense that he's a bit ahead and he released a week before? Since their numbers are the same? I don't see why you mentioned that.

And it's not unfair. Certifications are a mess for majority of artists, not a big deal.

ok i just realised my weird mistake about that LOL i should not have mentioned that but still, if chris would have released the same week as britney it wouldn't be different, he sold more in the same amount of weeks as britney so that's why i'm a bit upset about it. but oh well, i think chris will go platinum first anyway.
