I don't remember anyone saying 5-6x platinum except for 1-2 stans who really don't pay close attention to chart trends to know that wasn't going to happen. It's performing how I thought it would based on its start. Also, anyone who compared BTW to IGF & BBP is very misinformed.
She didn't say BTW is the best song of the decade, she said BTW the album is the best album of the decade. GaGa is known for hyping everything ridiculously but apparently it's paying off, & getting her millions more sales & weeks atop the Hot 100 & UWC charts (both which she broke records on multiple times in multiple weeks). I'm pretty sure it will end up being one of the weakest songs on the record. That being said, it's still going to manage to go 3x platinum (the promo isn't done yet) & it spent 6 weeks atop the Top 100 already.
I don't get it. Where's the disappointment? Where's the lack of longetivity?
