My problem is not about the remix. My problem is that Rih's label's decision came through as being very desperate for a #1. Not hating Rih or anyone here.

It doesnt matter how bad vocally Britney sounds. It was honest and thats what I like about it. THis is what she actually sounds like and I loved that she left the studio tricks at bay and the voice on the hard drive. This is much more raw... which conveys the theme of S&M.

Its not a desperate move. The song would have been to #1 if Rihanna was able to promote it. Cable networks are shutting er down to promote this song in the US so it would have had a #2 peak. Its not like the song was performing catastrophic. #1 on Pop and Radio. If S&M was a family appropriate song she would have performed it this week on American Idol and STILL get that #1 regardless.

Rihanna asked britney to do a collabo and because Britney likes the song S&M she "offered" to remix that one.

Can you blame them? One of them isn't selling albums like she used to and the other is notorious for topping the Hot 100. They both need the boost.

Meanwhile, the gorl (RiRi) is really only trying to give us stans a gift for helping S&M go to #1 on Radio. She was extremely nervous about its release and we delivered for her. This remix is a GIFT. Stans of others should stop being so bitter that the only remixes they get are those on Live shows with irrelevant, dead beat acts.
