THE QUEEN IS BACK

Beyonce is currently dominating Music News and The Internet World as buzz about her new single/video has become the most popular topic on ATRL this week and this month, decade, and century with over 6,000 posts in only 4 days along with almost 200,000 thousand views. Pictures and snippets show that Beyonce is taking a huge risk that some dont think will pay off for her in the long run. Others think the single will become the new standard and enforce a new rule in pop music.

Rihanna + Britney bring in mixed reactions.

Stans got a treat this week when Rihanna and Britney announced they would collaborate on S&M Remix. When the song finally came out stans had mixed reactions, a lot of people didnt like the way Britney sounded and some wanted to leave Rihannas great song just that "great". Regardless of the drama, the song shot straight to #1 on iTunes, now all we have to do is wait to see where it will debut.

BRITNEY SPEARS FALLS

Stans all over the globe and ATRL were shocked when HDD released news today that Britney Spears final third week sales were that of 40-45k. After her first single from this era, the rest has been really disappointing something along the lines of her former pop sidekick Christina Aguilera and her comeback ironically titled Bionic. With times changing and Britney failing talk has surfaced of replacing her in ATRLs Trinity with either Katy Perry or Rihanna.

KATY REIGNS

Katy Perry has two reasons to celebrate this week. "E.T.," her collabo with Kanye West, tops the Hot 100 for the third straight week. And her previous smash, "Firework," tops the 4 million mark in digital sales. It's her fourth song to reach that plateau, which is more than any other artist in digital history. Lady Gaga, Rihanna and will.i.am have each had three 3-million-sellers. (will.i.am's total includes two Black Eyed Peas hits and his featured role on Usher's "OMG.")
"Firework" has sold 4,051,000 copies as of this week. Perry's other 4 million-sellers are "I Kissed A Girl" (4,011,000), "Hot N Cold" (4,821,000) and "California Gurls" (with Snoop Dogg, 4,753,000)
