I know a J.Hud fan isn't talking about how much sales will dip next week. She's been hitting many high-profile events for months now including AI which reaches over 20 million people and he's still gonna outsell her by at least 100k. She'll be lucky to reach Monica & Fantasia's long-term sales.

But if his sales dip, Jennifer's will dip even harder cause atleast he has a top 10 hit thats played every hour on both urban & pop radio. So his voice is all over the airwaves reminding folks of his new album. Plus he has DWTS this week. Meanwhile, unless Jennifer's next single smashes radio, people will start to forget she even has an album out.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch.

Chris has 238794534789364879 singles on the radio, and has been promoting it for over a year, so he better had debuted at number one !! at the end of the day whatever the first say sales are don't really matter, Jennifer will still be here many years from now ! Has an awesome new movie coming out in sept, that could net her her 2nd oscar. So I'm positive, she won't shed any tears over first week sales!

Graffiti flopped! Jenn's debut album didn't. She sold 800k+ with just two singles. She could easily double that with 4-5 singles this era. Chris will definitely get a Gold certification but will fall short of Platinum.

Chris' album is at both #4 and #40 on iTunes while J.Hud's is at #7. Not that it matters much because outside of Adele digital album sales won't account for more than ~7% of sales anyway.

What do their last albums have anything to do with this? And Chris' debut album didn't flop either. He has 2 double platinum albums in the U.S. which is something J.Hud's never seeing. The chance of him reaching platinum with the amount of radio presence he has is about 4555490x more likely than Jennifer achieving the same feat.

Digital album sales won't matter much anyway, as both of them are artists who sell better in the store. Clearly they don't matter for Jennifer if she's debut 100k+ less.

I Remember Me is so much better than Jenn's debut. It sold 800k+ with just two singles. This album will get 4-5, so she will double that. With an inevitable re-release, she can go 2x Platinum. People gravitate more to Jenn because her voice is that great.

What a genius. No explicit albums are shown on that page lol. Check the album chart on the actual iTunes program that allows you to see explicit albums. Her debut album came out 3 years ago and she was surely more relevant then coming off an Oscar win and AI. It's hilarious that you think there's a linear relationship between singles released and album sales. She's not gonna release 4-5 singles because no one's even checking for the first one.

He won't be #1 this week because Britney's releasing but she'll never be #1, sorry to say.

What does listening/liking an album have anything to do with how it's actually doing. I'm here for facts and extremely educated predictions from industry sources, not your biased opinion on why you think the album SHOULD be #1. Chris is far from my favorite artist but the bottom line is he's gonna have a #1 album regardless. Congrats to him.

You act like iTunes is the only place to buy music. It's only a small percentage of total sales. Is he selling out of physical copies?

Because if you haven't listened to an album why would you even have the audacity to say she won't release 4-5 singles. Obviously enough people are liking WYA for it to be in the top 80 on the iTunes chart (thank goodness for that American Idol performance). She'll be in the top 10 this week on Billboard's R&B chart. It's a R&B song, not a Pop/R&B smash like Spotlight. Where You At is the weakest song on the CD and that's a good thing. Why come out with your best material first?

Where's Chris promo? You mean the best he could do was 106 & Park and GMA last week?
