Me:I'm doing another show today. This is one of the toughest countdowns to date. Will No Secrets topple all contenders for #1? Can Stone Sour keep the top? Who will rise & fall? Plus a return and a debut.
30. Santana & Michelle Branch "Game Of Love" (63, 5@1)-6
29. Santana & P.O.D. "America" (21, 1@1)=

Her next single will probably be I Just Died and Amerie will be my co-host all day tomorrow. She will premiere that during something special happening here. Paradise is set to debut on the countdown tomorrow. Anyway, Amerie is November's DRL artist of the month.

Me:Trina debuts at #4, that's the 2nd highest debut from a female rapper ever. Ms. Jade has the record with "Ching Ching" debuting at #3. Ms. Jade spent nearly 30 days on but never got to #1 and failed to retire.
03. Stone Sour & Ashanti "Bother (Live)" (6, 1@1)-2

News for 11/17
Amerie tells no lies but actually dies in next Unknown Adventure episode named "The Death Of Amerie, The Rise Of A New Star"
According to DRL Reports, Amerie will actually die in this episode. She says, "It was a great experience, I want to do this because it's fun!" Whatever you say Amerie...
Speaking of Amerie.....
With one of the most successful songs on DRL today, Amerie who resides in D.C. told us that her album is definitely a must-buy for the holidays.
Hotter than Amerie? Who?
Duh! Ashanti has more power than Amerie but not by much. Ashanti's first joint "Foolish" spent over 60 days and hit #1 just twice. Amerie spent over 100 days and reached #1 four times with her first joint "Why Don't We Fall In Love". Ashanti's 2nd joint "Happy" spent a few more days than "Why Don't We Fall In Love" and reached #1 4 times while Amerie's 2nd joint "Talkin To Me" has so far spent 100 days and hit #1 6 times. Ashanti's 3rd joint "Baby" has done wonders reaching 126 days on DRL and #1 a whopping 29 times.
The Road To End Of 2002 Countdown Begins In Detroit
A glorious time indeed. DRL has had so many viewers this year including reaching a new high 156,873 in today's episode keeping it the #1 rated countdown according to TRL presents:Self-Countdowns. So far, DRL averages 75,010 viewers a day. ERL got 2nd averaging 71,742 viewers. Ike's Countdowns remain in 3rd with an average of 65,982 viewers per show. In last place is Justchillin's countdown which has run out of steam averaging 1 viewer every 15 weeks. Last week, DRL averaged just 58,212 with ERL right behind averaging 58,209.
Detroit is home to Eminem as he gives his take on DRL's end of 2002 countdown. "I think Avril should be #1 because she's kinda like me. She gets popular just weeks after she begins her reign. I'm being honest here, Avril will win!"-Eminem
More news on DRL end of 2002 coming up now.

NOTE:You can start posting your "1998 or earlier" votes. You cannot make votes that premiered in 1999 or later. Make sure you post only 1 classic request or they will not count! When the BITD top 5 begins Saturday, I'll post the top 5 and see if your requests made it.

DRL News for the weekend of 12/20-12/22
Enter Queens Of The Stone Age
QOTSA has just prepped up a 2nd song called "The Sky Is Falling" and will premiere sometime this month. Homme told us that don't expect this to struggle like "No One Knows".
Best Of The Best:The Mixed Cds
I just received my 3rd mixed cd and it is the best yet because it has "Baby", "Daddy Get That Cash", "Neva Get Enuf" & "Remember Me" on there and that's only 4 out of 14(officially it's 12 because there are 2 songs that are duplicated)
DRL End Of 2002 Countdown Is Near
There will be adjustments in the songs that will appear due to the boards going down last month. The countdown is scheduled for all-star weekend.
Jennifer Lopez declared #1 hip-hop artist of DRL for 2002
With four hot hip-hop/r&b joints under her belt, she went mellow for her next joint "All I Have" which is currently red hot on DRL.
Woody Paige mutes host Max Kellerman on Around The Horn(Shocker!)
Woody visited DRL yesterday before the scheduled show and he told us that he made Max pay for all the problems he's had with him. To Max:Next time, don't get in Woody's way!
DRL awards announced on friday
On all-star weekend, we will have the 7th annual DRL awards. Last year's top song was "He Loves U Not" & "Case Of The Ex" snagging 4 awards. Who will win the Dreamer trophies this year? The main contenders are Ashanti, Avril & Amerie who each have at least 9 nominations each. 3LW & No Secrets lead the group acts with 3 nominations each. Play has 2 & Eden's Crush has 1 just to name a few. For viewer's choice, you narrowed it down to Avril v.s. Amy v.s. Ashanti. Amy has 12 nominations this year including best song, best new artist(UK), best new artist(world), best pop song, best rock song and best female. Eminem has 2 nominations this year and they are for best song "Without Me" and best album "The Eminem Show".
