I Usually Dont Really "excersize"
The only form of working out i do, is "running a few miles a couple times a week, during the spring and summer, and everyonce in a while ( but try to keep it regularly) just do a shitload of pushups, and curlups/crunches
Im skinny as **** but over the last year or so, i noticed i got some tone in me, even though im still skinny as **** and cant gain a pound even if all i eat is junk food and desserts and such

When I started to go to the gym something like 3 years ago, I was 155-160 pounds, I'm near 180 now
I'm 5'10 btw.

invest in some protein and a gym membership and start lifting
i have the opposite problem i gain weight really quick, so i need to lose that

Chicken, Steak, Beef, Atleast A Decent Portion Twice A day, like for lunch and dinner, sometimes even breakfast
I Eat Bacon As A Snack All The Time 
People Always Tell Me To Drink A Large Milkshake A Day, and i usually do that too

True, the best time to eat/take proteins is just after working out, it's when your muscles need it the most
