It was a fantastic ride while it lasted. Big up to Mariah.
- It would be a darn shame if BTHE misses #1. I hope it can stick around like SUBG did and grab some time at the top where it deserves to be.
Gwen, +854 at #30. "Cool" is going to be the wind-down hit of the summer.
Mariah will own the No.1 spot for 5 or 6 more weeks. After that, it's hard to tell but some possibilities for the Top 5 (or close) are the following:
Kelly Clarkson - Behind These Hazel Eyes
PCDs - Don't Cha
Rihanna - Pon De Replay
Missy Elliott f/ Ciara - Lose Control
Bow Wow f/ Omarion - Let Me Hold You
Ludacris f/ Bobby V. - Pimpin'
Papa Roach - Scars
D.H.T. - Listen To Your Heart
Frankie J - How To Deal
Teairra Mari - Make Her Feel Good
Gwen Stefani - Cool (might be a No.1)
Mariah Carey - Shake It Off (might be a No.1 as well)
The Killers - All These Things That I've Done
I don't know, I don't see any songs that will peak after WBT, all the songs currently in the top 10 will probably descend also as WBT does, except for maybe Kelly.
So I'm guessing Missy has an outside chance, Or maybe Gwen. I doubt "Cool" will make it though, it's doing good now, but I don't think it'll go as high in radio play as HBG, or in digital sales.
