Well "HIAM" spent 11/22 days at #1, and the last 11 only down to #14 without a video or promotion. "Not Myself Tonight" peaked at #4 in it's second day of release, and was down to #30 after 5 days total. In Billboard terms "HIAM" debuted #1, and has fallen to #6 and now #8, whereas "NMT" didn't get to the Top 20. You already semi-mentioned the airplay which we know Britney's significantly bigger. So all in all, I don't see any relation in them. It's also not "free falling" either.

A week from now it most likely won't be Top 5 as most new releases that's not a major major artist. But yes, SNL and the further promotions will keep everything at bay.

IDK. Urban fanbases don't usually buy singles. I think it was simply "Yeah 3x" not appealing to a wider audience. It's a great song IMO, but I can see why some of his fans might've just overlooked it being super Pop and all. While "LAMN" is something they want from him.
