Australia is its own continent. It's not that hard.

It's amusing how indignant people can get over differences in classification, as if the other side is actually ignorant simply because they grew up learning a different system.

All joking aside... North America.
South America - 2nd place, but is missing something.
Australia - It's mostly desert, but it would be a close 3rd in the livable areas.
Europe - Too crowded.
Asia - WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too crowded.
Africa - Maybe in South Africa, but I'd rather stay away from this continent.
Antarctica - Tundra? No thank you.

Europe, South America or North America.

But for me it depends more on the country than the continent itself.

I did not choose Europe because the dollar to euro ratio was ridiculous when I went there
So I chose Asia (plus the climate)

Does this mean you think we share more values with the U.S. and Canada than we do with Chile, Colombia or Argentina?

Of course not (im thinking your from Mexico). The categorizing of the contitnents is determined by a combination of their land mass and culture. Because Mexico is located on the North half it's considered a part of North america. In this case geography trumps culture.

The opposite would be the case of Europe and Asia. Technically they share the same landmass, (Eurasia) but cultural differences have led them to be recognized as two seperarte continents, so in this case culture trumps geography.

I personally would rule out culture if it were up to me, which would make Eurasia the predominantly recognized continent, but it's not up to me. I don't make the rules.

I've met a few Mexicans who consider them to be seperate continents... I've never gotten how it could be considered one giant continent, considering there on two seperate landmasses / continenatal plates. Europe / Asia would make more sense...

this argueing is a little pointless because were both gonna stick by what were taught growing up. The fact is that all regions consider them to be seperate continents except for Latin America, Portgual, and Spain.

There's even some regions that consider Europe / Africa and Asia to be one full continent (Euro-afr-sia)
