Are the lyrics as artistic and 'blooming with inspiration' as Gaga intended?

It's a good song. Some of the lyrics I dont know how they would work. The bridge is giving me Dance In The Dark teas as well. It would be interesting to hear these type of lyrics on the radio.

GaGa's lyrics have been "weird" in a lot of songs, but she makes them work. :] We'll have to wait and see how it turns out.

My two cents:
Hmm, so she wrote this song by herself? Well I see the picture she's trying to paint, or that she painted. This is obviously a gay person who believes in God but maybe has struggled with accepting themselves because of religious beliefs. She no wants to free this person from their narrow field of view to tell him that it doesn't matter if you're in love with another guy or God, you are still allowed to be in love, because God accepts you for who you are. The lyrics then jumps to a whole & totally different picture, to Gaga as a little girl and probably questioning herself and somewhere up this hill she's had to travel, she learned to accept that she was 'born this way, because God makes no mistakes'.

So tenderly she plays with these ideas of sexuality, accepting yourselfs, youth, believes and liberation, and then she finally touches on what she's been trying to say in the Bridge

I think that was the most honest moment in the song, and when you write songs like these they always turn out better when you attack them with full throttle and drive home to the point...so I'm happy she finally touched on it. Looks like it will be a 5 minute song? Nevertheless, the lyrics are inspiring and she's a credible songwriter. I approve

It's okay, I think it will be a gay anthem, but also telling you to be yourself, but the lyrics have completely turned me off of the song. It seems more like an inspirational speech rather than a song (minus the drag queen chorus part). But this is the type of song I am not going to be singing along to.

I see the song being alienated by pop radio listeners, it doesn't seem too sing-a-longy, but it's a song many have hoped for.

Honestly, it's just really hard to judge outside the context of the music.

Lyrics probably won't matter. It's the production that makes the song most of the time anyway. So, I guess it should be a hit based on GaGa's star power.
