I meant the general public. Yes, maybe it's because 'BOMT' is old, but even friends my age, who remember 'BOMT' very well, still pick 'Toxic' nowadays when it comes to choosing a Britney song. And when it comes to the general public, especially non-fans, 'Oops!' also comes before 'BOMT'.
I'd dare saying 10 years from now even the "music experts" will be going for 'Toxic' first, unless the fact that it didn't hit #1 on the Hot 100 keeps pushing it aside, while 'BOMT' was her 1st and biggest US hit.
