I hope things prove different this go round b/c i like da chick and support her. That is all.

Your point was her 1st single does good, the others don't. "3" doesn't prove the point, as "Womanizer" --> "Circus" --> "Amy" all hits after another. Don't change your argument. You said her songs crash and burn, to now saying the 3rd single doesn't go #1. Only Gaga & Katy have done in the past 2 years, so I guess every other "pop chick" is a flop for not achieving that. And I didn't forget "Radar". It doesn't prove your point, either. It was a 4th single from an album nearly 2 years old. It was bound to flop.
We can also retreat back to
In The Zone how both "Toxic" & "Everytime" did better than the first single "Me Against The Music". Or how her debut album held three Top 5 singles on Pop radio. The only time Britney has done what you claimed were during the blacklisting of the
Britney era, and for obvious reasons the
Blackout era.
But, you like her.

And if you support her, that is great! You just need to get the facts straight. (and maybe one of your points).
