We never know maam. But I have a huge feeling the earlier release of What the Hell is one of the factors! have you listened to WTH? It really sounds great. I hope Britney's new single will gonna smash too. I also stan for her.
OFF TOPIC: I'm REALLY HAPPY that you become our Moderator. You really deserve your position here. I look up to you since my first post on Atrl. And don't you know that you're my favorite member here in Atrl love you maam

Umm, z100 has been wrong before. The rumors went flying because of the EW article. Billboard, MTV all said it too but the only source was EW. they have been wrong before. Adam himself said not to believe everything you read. It's not official until they say it is. I'm still hoping for a January 7th release date but it was never confirmed by Britney's team.

okay.
I hope the song will leak soon. I can't wait to hear her new single.
I wonder why some people really like Britney's previous 2 albums. I don't really like Circus and BO. I hope her new album will sound like BOMT. Her best era

For me, "Blackout" is somewhat coherent and entertaining, but that's all. It's stripped of any sensitivity. She sounds too sharp and flattened, and it's emotionally a massive downgrade from her previous work. She proved that she was a smart businesswoman by hiring the best even when she wasn't at her best, but I've always seen "Blackout" rather as a producer's showcase, than Britney's.
I almost hate it because I see it as a soundtrack for those days of Britney drinking, smoking and acting recklessly, because I always connected her persona, the place she was at when recording the album, to the album itself. When listening to "Blackout," I feel sad. She in a way spoke through her music on her previous two albums, and after everything that happened I was underwhelmed by the fact that that was all that she has to say.
I hope you guys understand why I dislike it now.

Oh! Now i understand it clearly. I really thought that her new single will be out this comin' January 7. cuz even in a radio program in my country. they spread the news that HIAM will be release on the reported date and it was also confirmed by z100. anyways, I will patiently wait til the new single drops. I'm so whoring WHAT THE HELL now since its release. the song gives me life. I hope Britney's new single will be as catchy as WTH.

I used to dislike her when she released that album. BO reminds me of her breakdowns and most of the tracks are also a mess. the only track that i kinda like off Bo is Break the Ice. because of its beat and it's also a song that you can dance to

I get this and in ways I agree.
Circus is probably slightly ahead of Blackout for me too but I think that may have more to do with the age I was when Blackout was released then Circus, I hyped Circus up more in my head.

i'm suprised you guys are all bashing My Baby . It's genuinely one of my favourite songs on Circus. That very last high note at the end is epic.
