Well I done squats with weights or medicine balls. Medince balls are good and are less stress on the legs and can work your arms to. I use a 10kg/15kg one but just adjust to what suits you hold out in front of you an squa. The squats I do with weights is the bar you know with weights eitherside, and I do about 40kg each side and 20kg bar so it's about 100kg all together. But do not try that unless you are shown the proper technique as it can be very damaging to your back, and always get someone to spot you.
