Thanks to everyone who voted this past round, which saw the elimination of the fifth song from our top ten. Along the way, three songs were in major danger of being voted off, constantly trading the lead for most elimination votes. "Wonderwall" by Oasis, the last remaining song not recorded by a contemporary pop diva. More than any other contender, it faced an uphill battle to make it so deep in the tournament. Targeted from the earliest rounds, it survived on the consistent support of a small but dedicated group of fans. However, with the power of save votes now removed from the game, "Wonderwall" simply couldn't hold any longer against the pop lovers of ATRL.
