The title track, "Self-Inflicted" and "Mannequin" are all lovely. Add "Waking Up in Vegas," "Thinking of You," "Ur So Gay," "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot N Cold" and it's actually a good listen.

"Teenage Dream" is slightly better than "One Of The Boys", even though none of her albums so far are brilliant.
Although "One Of The Boys" is more of a pop/rock album than "Teenage Dream" and "I Kissed A Girl", "Ur So Gay", "Hot N Cold" and "I'm Still Breathing" are all good, and "Waking Up In Vegas" and "Thinking Of You" are okay (both wouldn't have done as good as they did on charts without those great videos), Katy sounded a mess in most of the tracks, rather irritating maybe and came off as a faceless attention-***** on the majority of the album. The "Jagged Little Pill" comparisons are simply idiotic.
"Teenage Dream" may be more pop than "One Of The Boys", but it works better for her. "Teenage Dream", "Last Friday Night", "Firework" and "Hummingbird Heartbeat" are better than anything on "One Of The Boys". "Circle The Drain" and "E.T." are pretty good too and her vocals are more trained on "Teenage Dream" and she truly does sound a lot better. The only dull track on the album is "Pearl". Despite the promising beginning and pretty good lyrics, the production is bad and Katy's delivery is weak. And the few fillers like "California Gurls" are all kindly generic, but impossible to dislike.
