Yea true..but so what, her digital sales are massive and she is #1 on pop, I think that is pretty deserving, she will probably lose #1 slot next week to Ciara but the song did really well.

Well when you're one of the few people I've heard from who DOESN'T like it, I'd have to say you're a little off in saying it's "not really a good song" and that the only reason it's doing well is because it's back to her older style.
I don't hate the song, but I just don't like it all that much...and I don't think that was hypocritical at all, what I meant was that it was a return to a traditonal type of sound for her that is more like past Mariah that people are responding too. Seperate from quality totally. Anyway no need to jump on that comment, it was just that- one comment.

Who called you a hypocrite? Your comment just didn't make sense. Through the Rain was sort of a return to traditional Mariah and look how that faired. WBT is a quality song, whether it sounds like traditional Mariah or not.
Well Nick just thought one comment conflicted with the other, where I thought they were both fine. Whatever it was just an opinion. I just get a more traditional vibe from this song versus Through the Rain which seemed like a failed attempt at recapturing an older sound. WBT does that better but I still don't think it's that good of a song. But hey I only actually like maybe 3 Mariah songs ever, so who the hell knows. Anyway no need to get mad...
