I don't have a problem with Britney not performing. She doesn't have anything that warrants a performance at the moment.

It'd only make sense to add 30 Seconds to Mars as the male rock band. We have enough males for the moment. It kinda sucks GaGa is not performing, unless she is surprising the public. If she's not performing, then Beyonce is definitely not performing. Ke$ha is limited to presenter status (thank goodness!). That's why I have no doubt Taylor and/or Katy Perry will be announced next.

Yes, Katy's nominated for Pop Video and Female Video. Plus, she has an album out this week, so yeah, I see her performing.

The "surprise" thing is probably related to Gaga, though not necessarily a performance.
And if they added Eminem, then Rihanna will probably show up. I mean, she DID show up to open the 2008 VMAs even though she only got 2 nominations (one of which wasn't even televised) and walked away empty-handed. Any publicity is better than no publicity, right?

Yay Eminem finally somethin to look forward to! We really need some female performers already! I hope GaGa and Beyonce will be the so called secret MTV is keepin, Usher performing Hot Tottie wit Jay-Z would be great, Taylor if we have to have her do anything is present same wit Jason, and Katy needs to perform Teenage Dream (and a little better this time). Just went thru the nominees to think of ideas cuz other than Em this show badly needs another showstopper to save it cuz it's kinda a snoozefest minus Em of course to me.
