I've just discovered it. Mariah did it twice: in 1995 and in 2005.

^ Did BEP do it with Boom Boom Pow & I Gotta Feeling?
And I really hope Teenage Dream can go #1 on Hot 100, the song deserves it.

KATY KEEPS 'CALIFORNIA' 'DREAM'-ING: While Eminem joins an exclusive boys club of chart achievers, Katy Perry similarly earns an honor previously attained by just nine solo female artists.
As previously reported, Perry becomes the 10th woman to concurrently place two titles in the Hot 100's top five as a lead act. Her "Teenage Dream" jumps 9-5, while her former six-week No. 1, "California Gurls," rebounds 4-3.
Here is a recap of the 10 female soloists to double up simultaneously in the Hot 100's top five. Donna Summer and Mariah Carey are the only women to do so with two different sets of songs:
Linda Ronstadt
"Blue Bayou," "It's So Easy," 1977
Olivia Newton-John
"Hopelessly Devoted to You," "Summer Nights" (John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John & "Grease" Cast), 1978
Donna Summer
"Bad Girls," "Hot Stuff," 1979
"Dim All the Lights," "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" (Barbra Streisand/Donna Summer), 1979
Madonna
"Crazy for You," "Material Girl," 1985
Whitney Houston
"I Will Always Love You," "I'm Every Woman," 1993
Mariah Carey
"Fantasy," "One Sweet Day" (Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men), 1995
"Shake It Off," "We Belong Together," 2005
Monica
"The Boy Is Mine" (Brandy & Monica), "The First Night," 1998
Rihanna
"Disturbia," Take a Bow," 2008
Beyonce
"If I Were a Boy," "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," 2008
Katy Perry
"California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg), "Teenage Dream," 2010

Yes. Mariah is always brought up whenever a record or a feat is matched. I'm happy that these girls are going where Mariah has already gone.
Btw, congrats to Katy. Hope she notches her 3rd #1, 2nd this year with "Teenage Dream." Like the song.

Yep, but Mariah is the only female artist in the history of the chart to occupy the first two positions.

GREAT ALBUM, easily one of the best this year.
1. Teenage Dream - My favorite track, the lyrics are amazing.
2. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) - Love this! Cool melody, and Katy's vocals are hip, not forced. So refreshing to listen.
3. California Gurls - I never love this, but I like it. It's a strong track, I just can't feel it.
4. Firework - The intro is sick! And the whole song is amazing! The chorus gives me life! Katy's vocals are burning. My favorite track aside from TD, I hope this can be a single!
5. Peacock - I like this, but it's too obvious. A lot of people may not like this, my mom even blamed me for playing a very sexual song.
6. Circle The Drain - Good angst track. Katy could so pull this off, the lyrics are kinda off though.
7. The One That Got Away - My second favorite after Firework and TD. The beat is very good, and the chorus is so fulfilling.
8. E.T. - I never liked the demo, but the mastered one is kinda good, but still, not my favorite.
9. Who Am I Living For - I kinda like this, but it's kinda the weak track of the album.
10. Pearl - The gem of this album. This ballad is Katy's hit for winter. It's just too beautiful, a masterpiece.
11. Hummingbird Heartbeat - Another album gem, love the chorus so much.
12. Not Like The Movies - Good ballad, but not my cup of tea.
My order (may still change eventually):
12. Not Like The Movies
11. Who Am I Living For
10. E.T.
9. Circle The Drain
8. California Gurls
7. Peacock
6. Hummingbird Heartbeat
5. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)
4. Pearl
3. The One That Got Away
2. Teenage Dream
1. Firework
