"Good Girl Gone Bad" is not played out..."Rated R" is.

^^^ GGGB (im listening to it right now) is old. Still an amazing album, but its not as great as "Rated R". Please expand your horizon and understand the power that "Rated R" has.

Like I said, GGGB was amazing. Rated R had substance, emotion, feelings, and was Rihanna's MOVIE, her masterpiece.

i dont think she should have released "Rockstar 101" and "Te Amo".

She should have released "Fire Bomb" as her last single.

I love Rihanna but honestly she has to take a different route NOW! She is always going to be known as the artist who doesnt have album selling success only singles sucess! This girl is so sexy and unique. Her team has to start throwing her up against the the big dogs and creating bigger oppurtunities for her if she wants to truley have longevity like her idos Beyonce & Britney. She definently is a Britney fan trust me! Eventually single selling artist burnout. I love Rihanna. I see she has a unique quality that no other female artist has! She's extremly smart! I just want to her her expand and truley blossom. She has potential!

Rihanna NEEDS to take a different route. I've never loved an artist like I love Rihanna. I've never followed anyone like I follow her. Since 2005, I've been here, and even I can see what she needs to do. I hate that fact that she's a "single" artist, and her albums dont sell much. Her label sucks in that department. Don't just make music for her that you expect to be a #1 single. Make her an album that will have top 10 hits, and will sell millions, like her counterparts Beyonce, Britney, and Gaga.

How the hell is it that Gaga came out in 2008, and has sold a shitload of albums, and has had hit singles back to back, and has had two sold out headlining tours, and she's only had 2 albums? WTF!

Rihanna has went from little new island girl, to pop/island music, to pop/dance/techno music, to pop/rnb/hiphop! I love how she reinvents herself, but she needs a new breakout album. To me, someone isn't putting in enough effort. You are 22 years old, beautiful, in shape, and have so many talents. YOu should be putting your EVERYTHING into your music. Your performances should be EPIC! Dancing, singing, putting on a spectacular show.

I'd just love for her to have more ballads, cause her voice really shines on ballads/slow songs. I'm afraid that Def Jam is rushing her albums, and when her contract is up, there wont be anymore Rihanna or Rihanna music. And I dont know how I would live without Rihanna. She needs to do acting, more commercials, more endorsements. Start that clothing line, cause her fashion sense is ridiculous. Start a hair line or something. Start writing music, producing, or something.

I just wish her the best and hope that Robyn Rihanna Fenty becomes the powerhouse that she's supposed to be!

i agree with alot of your points .. i've been a rihanna stan since 06 and have seen her growth but she still needs alot of work ..
alot of us rihanna stans have been talking about her performances lately and how they really need work and other things ..
as far as her not being an album seller .. imo until she sticks with one legit sound .. which she pretty much never does cause she's always trying something new lol .. she'll continue selling average ..
i think once she does this next album and stick with pop as her niche like it should be then she'll eventually get to selling 2-3 million in the US alone faster .. like i didn't expect rated r to sell that much because she totally switched her sound so i knew the closest this album was going to get in the US was to a million which its almost there .. WW though i didn't worry too much although it could be better .. also the way def jam went about her single choices screwed up potential sales .. def jam also did this with gggb though .. i mean SUAD after umbrella ? just TEW clueless .. releasing HTILY soo early smh .. gggb could've sold more than it did .. but i guess we'll never know its true potential now ..

the rated r was just a mess PERIOD and although i love the album i'm ready for it to be over with .. it felt rushed and sooooo disorganized ..
her promotion wasn't touching gggb's this era and her being naked alot turned alot of people off not to mention lol .. so her image isn't the best with people either right now ..
i mean i feel like it just a phase that she's going through and now she's over it so i don't see the problem persay but i can see why other people are like '' or '' right now lol ..

Her image is not the best. She needs to be sexy, but at same time, classy. I knew from the beginning that def jam was messing up. "Wait your turn" was a pointless single nd video. It was poorly done nd they started off wrong. "Russian roullette" was a bad first single. It shudve been "hard", "russian roulette", "rude boy", then "fird bomb". And there should have been months in between each song. They rush her singles, which doesn't give her album longevity, which means if they do want longevity, they need to release multiple singles. They planned her tour too early, only because they thought it would bring in loads of money, but we see what's happening with that. Her tour should have started in the UK in about june/july nd then america in late august.

I think she will have that one amazing album that everyone loves. Her sound will be perfect. I jus want her to be real with herself. All the partially nude **** is blah. If def jam new a little something about marketing, they would know the biggest buying demographics for albums r kids nd teens, nd what parent is gonna buy music from a girl tht is always partially naked? I feel like Rihanna would be HUGE if she did POP/REGGAE/RNB but very smooth, dancy, rhythmic, strong, and had a lot of flavor.

This new era, her first single better be epic. Instant #1 like california girls or tiktok or poker face. She better connect with her fans more. She better write nd dance. She better have time in between her singles. She better deliver better than she's ever delivered.

yessss .. alot of people want her to go back to how she was during the gggb era .. its like everything just came with ease .. she was likable and the IT girl or whatever and not to mention she started ALOT of trends during the gggb era as far as her fashion and hairstyles went .. nowadays though her style seems a little forced and just not how it use to be .. like i understand how the incident effected her but she must've REALLY took it hard lol cause tbh this whole era has just been depressive and dark as hell .. we finally got light with rude boy though .. so hopefully her next era follows that path ..

and her tour .. smh .. its just SO much going on with that lol .. first of all her management ****ed her up BIG TIME .. they should've already known that rihanna hasn't really proven herself as a performer in the US and also the sound of rated isn't want people really wanna hear along with her image turning people off .. it was gonna be tougher for her sell out big arenas in the US .. if anything .. what her management should've done was give her like 15 US dates and NOT 30 well 25 now since like 4-5 were cancelled .. a couple could've been in big arenas and the rest 12,000+ ones .. idk what the hell they were thinking doing that to her smh .. but i look at the bright side and this won't end her or effect her much because she has a good amount of dates left to go and they seem to be doing really well judging by the pics of the audiences lol .. and also she'll probably be touring australia and asia and HOPEFULLY brazil because her stans their are MASSIVE .. like she's HUGE worldwide .. her european leg slayed .. its just the US where they have to be careful at .. but hopefully they learned their lesson this time but i'm really wondering how she's going to continue touring and coming out with a new album at the same time ..


thats why i wanted an EP so it wouldn't be too much trouble .. a whole new album is alot of work especially when you're still on tour so i guess we'll see how that goes ..
