I still haven't seen Lady in the Water

I bought it cause the cover looked interesting. I literally attempted to watch it 5 times. I got 30 minutes into it. Turned it off and tried 4 more times to watch it. I got another 15 to 20 minutes done and was like, this is so stupid.

I actually should burn it. Or toss it. The first film I've ever bought that I can't watch.

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good in my opinion. The casting for the kids wasn't done very well. Prince Zuko was a cutie though.

I was going to see it when I saw Eclipse but it didnt work out... One of of my friends said it wasnt that bad though so people should probably go and watch it for themselves because some people might not like it while others will, the same thing with the Twilight saga...

Despite being terrible, it still pulled in a pretty decent amount at the box office considering it went up against a summer blockbuster.

Here's to hoping part 2 & 3 are MILES better. *crosses fingers*

Has it been confirmed they'll do more movies for it after the recent reviews?

No it hasn't. But I thought that Shyamalan signed a deal for three movies, maybe it was just a rumor.

I can't believe it pulled in $70.5M during the holiday period.

However the Cinemascore grade was very low, and the budget and P&A are massive, so I don't expect a sequel. This will fall like a rock.

O/T: "Toy Story 3" has broken the $300M-mark in the US. $40M to go before it passes "Finding Nemo" to become Pixar's all-time highest grosser! Nemo will still have sold considerably more tickets (no 3-D surpluses and general ticket price increase).

All the hate is making me want to see this movie.

Wow, I didn't know it got $70.5 million....pretty damn good for a movie that got the worst reviews of the year.

Yeah, I'm also impressed. But it still won't be a franchise-started for Par.

He just ruined it in my opinions; the best actor are probably one who plays Sokka.

Kitara is too young and not a good actress at all. Not to be a racist but he made the whole royal fire nation family Indians and well the director is Indian. I like Aang but I think he should lighten up more like the cartoon.

The special effects are really good, my friend who never watches the cartoon think it's very good. I personally watch all the seasons multiple times think that's all it has to offer, not so much on the acting or good actors. The scenery are amazing though, I especially like the ice city. It's ashamed, but at least it's not as horrible as Goku in the DragonBall movie.

Cant wait for second book: Water Ba Sing Se and the third book Fire; cant wait for him to chop it again LOL. I go to see the action and fighting, but the acting are too awful and I'm just going to try to ignore it.

Hope it flops even more!!!

Let's see

1. Fight scenes could have been more fluent and believable
2. They should have pronounced each others names the CORRECT way
3. Comedy should be conveyed through jokes and gestures, not having Sokka frozen for 10 seconds and then all of a sudden the ice is gone
4. Zuko should have had his first hair style, and Iro should have been pudgier and funnier.
5. Aang should have been trying to recall more memory. It's like he's trying for a little then all of a sudden it's "Why are you people letting them do this?" This fight scene in particular was bland (it just felt like "why are they just doing all this when they could easily just run and punch their opponents?")
6. The GRAPHICS were okay, but definitely need work to feel realer:
- Good fire benders don't need a flame in their presence.
- The water bending, except for at the ending, looked weak.
- The air bending and earth bending needed more too.
7. The cartoon should be continued, and hopefully the sequel will be better. They introduce Azula and she uses lightning, so it better be very realistic.

I saw it, and it was ****. Judging by how they ended the movie, there will most likely be a sequel..
