I just started to crying reading this. When life actually gives you what you want. This is amazing. 18 episodes! That's like at least 10 more than I expected
I'm excited, but also a little nervous. Twin Peaks is probably just the right amount of David Lynch for me. I respect him so much and think he's such a great director, but I can't watch his movies a lot, they inevitably depress and drain me (Fire Walk With Me, anyone?) Twin Peaks had to be diluted a bit for network television but his stamp is still unmistakably there. So I'm nervous about what pay cable will mean for the show's tone. But it's still Twin Peaks, and Mark Frost is back as well. Whatever balance he and David created back in the day, it was a good one.
