Just an interesting observation; non-swifties seems to generally dislike the song but think that Zayn does the good part but swifties both like and dislike the song but if they dislike it it's because of Zayn's vocals.

Did you read the song thread and GP opinion? It's 90% of people (Swifties and non-Swifties) saying that the song would be better without Zayn's falsetto, which doesn't mean that his usual vocals are bad. The only people who mentioned Taylor's vocals in a negative context were those who dislike everything she does.

Haven't really read thru the song's thread no but i just saw mostly initial reactions in the itunes thread and got that impression. I thought it'd mirror the majority of ppl's opinions but i dont know that ofc. Hence just being my observation

Plus its Zayns song. She is only featured, that takes away from the sales when the bigger artist is secondary. A sound track featuring her is doing 180k in 2016. That is more then most solo woman opened with this year and there have been some big women who've released solo. So, that says a lot.

Plus 50 shades, a lot of her fans aren't interested in that anyway.

Zayn is the lead here, he has top billing (Zayn &Taylor Swift) and asked her to sing with him. Listen to the song, it is mostly him and he sounds great. Taylor Swift is a solo artist so having Zayns name in front of her wouldn't help her do Taylor Swift first single numbers. Anyone expecting "shake if off" numbers, for a 50 shades single with Zayns name leading (or in the title) is not happening
