Question about Montreal. I'm going there for New Years, but my plane lands in Montreal Dec. 31 at 8pm. Is there anywhere to buy alcohol so I can drink that night? LCBO closes at 6.

But there's no LCBO's they're all SAQ's for the most part but also corner stores sell the staple beers and sometimes liquor

When I flew 2 weeks ago they had places that sold alcohol but it said it wasn't duty free so it wasn't gonna be super cheap.

Dunno if it's a Quebec side thing but I was in Gatineau and Provigo had so much wine itnwas crazy. And same in my hometown No Frills sells beer and wine now and big selection too.

Personally I would just get it there. It's right there and one less thing to do and go out for.
