Before the promo for next Sunday's episode, I have some news: SOMEONE IS RETURNING TO WISTERIA LANE on the Season Finale, airing May 16, in order to prepare next season's mystery... Rumors have Felicia, Paul or Dave as the possibilities. But the fact that Marc Cherry had dinner with Neal McDonaugh (aka Dave Williams) recently may mean something. Personally, I'd rather one of the others than him.

Desperate Housewives has now entered its sixth season and Felicia Tilman hasn't been seen since her season two departure. It should be noted that her old house, at 4350 Wisteria Lane, has passed out of her possession as Bree purchased it for her son, Andrew and his fiance. Series creator Marc Cherry has hinted that Felicia may return during season six although it is unknown as to why she would return.

However, in the "Ask Desperate Housewives" Marc Cherry was asked "Will it ever be revealed that Paul Young did not murder Felicia Tilman?" Marc Cherry's reply was, "Yes", meaning that Felicia will most likely return to Desperate Housewives.

Felicia Tilman is most likely the former main character that will return in the sixth season finale and become a series regular for the duration of the seventh season.

I love Felicia but, sadly, I don't think she's the one coming back, I read Marc Cherry hinted the character returning is not a woman.

As for the episode... OMG. The season slowed down a bit after episode 14 or so, but it's been all GREAT again for the last 3 episodes.

'Desperate Housewives' To Wrap Up After Two Years?

After the horrible, horrible news that Steve Carell may be ending his Office stint after next season (and consequently, it would seem, the show itself), the fate of ABC's Desperate Housewives looks like it's already sealed too. Deadline.com is reporting that the alphabet is toying with the idea of a two-season pickup as the curtain call for the dramedy.

ABC, the source adds, has already made deals with most of Housewives' writers, while creator and showrunner Marc Cherry, embroiled as he is in a lawsuit from Nicolette Sheridan, is signed up for the next three years. His final year will be spent developing a new show once Desperate Housewives wraps, something that ABC bigwigs have been asking for quite some time now.

So, two more seasons? Great news. That's more than enough, I don't think they should go past Season 8 at all. In my opinion, 6 seasons is the ideal length for 90% of the shows, but since they jumped time in Season 5, it's perfectly possible to keep the quality for more 4 seasons, like they plan to do. Not to mention having a confirmed ending date will help make a better and proper ending.
