The democratic party really needs to look into pushing legislation that makes voting easier, perhaps online? That would pretty much solidify the presidency for them for the foreseeable future. Young people don't turn out because of the relatively arcane registration policies (in 2012, I had to physically mail in my registration... Millennials & Gen X don't "mail" things, I even had to google how to write the address
Bringing registration into the 21st century will help tremendously.
Of course, democrats won't do this, and will take away from this result that in 2020 they should run an even MORE bland centrist democrat, or just Hillary herself again (after she becomes the subject of a few more scandals, of course).
