All the gay people i've interacted with had a lisp even the ones that were 100% "masc" had huge lips. I feel like i'm the only gay in my city without one
their cute tho so i don't mind em. I feel like guys who are enormously bothered by it are just super insecure and don't want to be associated to a lisping gay.
I grew up with a few people who came out during college, and they never, ever had a lisp until they began to accept their sexuality and be open. I'm still failing to understand how their self acceptance led to the formation of a lisp. Did they always have a lisp and just hide it? It's actually a speech impediment, aka a defect, and those who are purposely talking with a lisp need to seek help, because it's not funny to those who once had it and spent years struggling to speak coherently.
To those who grew up with a lisp, please call out those faking it.
