i still havent listened to it. any tracks you would recommend?
I can't be sure what you'll like tbh. Maybe try Dancin' In Circles?
My favorites are Hey Girl, Joanne, Come To Mama and Just Another Day but they are more throwback.
If her label plays their cards right with MR (enough performances, a great video and PAYOLAAA) then yes, otherwise the album will drop from the charts and resurrect after the SB.
I've read somewhere that the album is expected to sell around 750k at the best which is absolutely bad for someone who will perform at the SP and has only released three studio albums before
Her 1st week was great, 2nd week projected to got a nice hold, million reasons is the 2nd single and it goes well with the gp, holidays season is on its way, video clip + amas performance on late November, obviously she will do more promo and she has the Halftime show too..I think it will have it
I think Joanne will be seen as a decent era commercially speaking after all is said and done, considering her career trajectory. MR and the SB will prevent the album from completely dropping off the charts but this is obviously not her ROL/Emancipation/BEYONCE moment like many monsters here think. The album is doing good in the US but it's lowkey tanking worldwide.
Joanne: 1M pure sales WW
MR: moderate Top 10 WW hit
Tour: 130M
so basically like Artpop but without all the messy chaos and mismanagements
Looks like yes.
It's slaying on iTunes after 2 weeks. And there's still SuperBowl and maybe a big tour, so she should be getting many more sales in the future.
If you can call 6 months a "longevity" then yes...
MR will be a hit for sure, and she'll release another single, could be the last one, before the Superbowl. I have a feeling that TF/M will have a better boost than Joanne after her halftime show. I'm doubtful if her tour would boost Joanne's sales...
