I've seen many wonderful performances of her on Youtube. The way she played with her voice is amazing.There definitely are off ones tho I agree but enough to know that she was a good performer at her core.
I don't know if she had the potential to do something better than BTD to be honest. Most of the musicians who died from drugs released their best album when they did the worst: Back to black,In Utero, Closer etc. It sounds like a cruel thought but maybe misery is the best muse for some.
