Also the fact that critics don't really sit with an album to get a real feel for it anymore kind of invalidates a lot of what they say.
The review turn around rate is like 2-5 days nowadays. It's all commercialized. I know Anti greatly benefitted from this type of commodification of reviews.
Cause it's actually not a great album by every objective measure.
How can you talk about objective measure when most of the reviews for Beyonce's past two albums commend her for how she released?
At least with Rihanna its about how good/bad the music is.
I feel duped for believing that Ronson and Tame Impala would coerce Gaga into making interesting, and at the very least, listenable music. I don't understand why they weren't able to give her even one or two good songs. Like... it's pretty clear that nothing can salvage her at this point.
Had to ignore him tho because everyone else did
