I think they expected that the "no promo" strategy was going to work for her but it seems that it isn't given the circumstances.

Maybe Million Reasons is not just doing well, it's just doing normal Gaga single numbers. Perfect Illusion was the anomaly, not MR. I think that if she released Ayo or John Wayne instead of MR, it would be performing the same as MR.

I do think that she should promote MR, make a cute video and perform it on TV performances. The team has a second single strategy already planned, so just use MR as a sandwich until the harvest comes.

I'm not saying that they have a certain second single picked, but that they have the strategy already planned. They might have everything ready to go and when the album releases, they pick the track most people like. But we won't have a video until December, so that's why I'm saying that she should do a simple MR promo video for the album release.

For me, my least fav songs (based on what we've heard thus far) are Grigio Girls, Ayo and Dancing In Circles tbh.

This is really disappointing news. The song might not sustain its chart positions anymore. Million Reasons was welcomed more warmly, but will radios give Gaga a second chance?
