On par? I would say she has the bigger fanbase considering Demi has never had a Gold album nor a hit single nor big success overseas. So I'm pretty sure Selena is ahead of the game.
I would never thought it would go past 500 K but it did!!!! And I'm seriously impressed how Naturally is still lingering around the radios. I thought it would have died by then.
And to me, I think Selena has a bigger fanbase than Demi does now.
Sucks though, I'm pretty sure the album could go platinum with another single but don't think that will be happening. Of course sales so far have been very impressive. I think the album could possibly sell 800,000 which is good for a debut album.
