Yeah I agree that this should be the second single. After listening to the snippets several times I am pretty sure this is her best chance at a hit. Like don't get me wrong the other songs all sound amazing but non of them sound radio friendly or catchy enough to hit. Especially off an album that doesn't have any hits yet. Like maybe dancing in circles might have a chance, it could have some retro appeal I guess and I'm unsure about hey girl too. This song could do well tho especially if she gives it a lot of promo. Its already gotten a more positive reception than PI and done very well with no promo or radio. It's probably her best shot which means she mist likely won't release it or will give it a messy as hell release lol.
For the video, in my head I basically see a simple video with scenes of her packing a suitcase and her guitar and just walking down a road + scenes of her singing in a bar. also her singing in the rain or something.
For this video, I can imagine her walking into a church and eating a bible page by page in the middle of a pentagram drawn with blood while she sends her spirit to possess Tony Bennett and free an extraterrestrial colony of little monsters from Laurieann Gibson
I imagined the video of her like Cyndi Lauper's "Heading West" and Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" where she is walking down a dusty road called "Million Miles/Million Reasons Road" while dragging a piano or something...and plays the piano at a church alone while surrounded by candles or something LOL. And then a record tape video of black and white scene of her laying in a grass and laughing (like in the single cover) plays throughout the "piano scene"...
if she performs this on SNL and it goes top 10 again she should definitely make it a single. Then go with something more upbeat for the third single, Diamond Heart, A-yo or DIC would work just fine - perform it at the Superbowl and the Grammys - HIT.
Yeah A-Yo also has some hit potential probably, I just don't personally like it much lol but I will wait for the full studio version before judging it top harshly.
Dancin In Circes and Ayo are the only upbeat songs and Diamond Heart a bit.
And those 3 should be the only singles, maybe Angel Down too. Releasing a ballad is the death of the era, it won't capture anyone's attention. Dancin' In Circles would be the ideal second single in my opinion, it's very Gaga.

Pop fans and music "experts" on forums are known for being shallow and really narrow minded. When speaking of homosexuals I expect them to appreciate music, a beautiful vocal range and to be genetically "enlightened" about culture and self expression. But, unfortunately, I couldn't be more wrong. The homosexuals here try to degrade everything that is beyond their limitations. Such a paradox.
Let me educate you: art in its purest form represents the artist as much at it represents its public. Million Reasons is a personal song, yet speaks to you in a universal language. You are not supposed to like it but you are not supposed to compare it to the incomparable for the sake of an argument when it's not needed. This album has no analog in Gaga's discography and if you are to compare it, you should do so by using other examples which in this case are timeless records sung by talented artist. Therefore, Joanne is already classic.

This is true, but at the same time, she has broken the pattern of all smash hits being upbeat dance bangers as well. Since her arrival we've had a lot more alternative entries to the top 20 and even more mid tempo/down tempo top 10's. It's much more possible now than it was in 2009-2010 where most of the smash hits were dance pop.
