People are underestimating the impact of the debates this cycle. They're huge.
Obama v Romney/McCain
Bush v Kerry
Bush v Gore
...you can see why they wouldn't move things rapidly in any direction. They're all politicians. Some had great charisma, others had been debating for decades. They had experience, and knew not to fuc* up. A lot of people would watch them debate policy and not really be swayed.
With Trump and Clinton it's different. Both have negative approval ratings. Both have decades of baggage to attack. Both, and in particular Trump.. are capable of saying or doing something that could have a dramatic impact. And more importantly, there are a lot of undecideds this time round.
The debates are honestly huge this cycle - and it's showing already in the movement of polls and audience numbers.
And early voting has already started in some key states. Also he'll do terrible in the town hall debate and the third debate which should be focused heavily on foreign policy. Poor him.
All these illegal things coming out isn't helping either.
Ok, but Clinton is a liar who deletes security files and uses her own personal e-mail. Their both evil people and it really comes down to the lesser evil here.
I honestly don't want either as Presidents, but at least Clinton acts like one. Trump is embarrassing. He is rich, however, which says he is a businessman and could be helpful to our economy.

And yet the FBI Director himself said no charges should be brought against Madame Clinton. Why? Because she is guilty of nothing. A modern day salem witch trial tbh. The sooner you stop buying into right-wing propaganda and lies the better.
