Yeah, the "I have loved you all my life" line in CLG throws me off somewhat. Perhaps it could be about her father, Mark Evans, after all. Then again, if she were to die in someone's arms, that would be Simon.

The cynical side of me always wondered if some songs are about her baby blues. I guess the aging themes of the album where part of it.
I just wrote about some tracks but then the guests immediately jumped to 24 so I deleted it. Hopefully I wasn't too late I think the tabloids watch us too much here to discuss theories about songs or really anything in much depth here. I know I had a guy from the Mirror stalking my tumblr askbox for info a few months ago, people have gotten DMs that they'd literally pay us for banter, etc. CC and I didn't piece together interviews and stuff about the songs so that they could make up stories about her personal life, it was more for our interest in understanding the process of making 25 and how all the songs fit together... appreciation not malice. So um yeah CC and I would totally be willing to discuss stuff with you all in private but I think we need to be careful that us exploring the artist/music we love doesn't turn into Wooton's latest attempt at an exposé.
That's what I always assumed, OneAndOnly. I thought that was who inspired "Send My Love," but I've heard people say it's about "Mr. 21," so now I don't know which one it's about. I'm so confused!

Yaaaas, love the CLG discussion in here. I LOVE that song. I know bonus tracks often get shafted in rates/survivors/etc., but CLG has really become one of my faves on 25 and I want everyone to recognize how good it is
I have to say that this industry is just ruthless when it comes to making and breaking someone. Usher was huge, a diamond album huge, a decade a go and now he released an album that nobody even knows of, 20k sales. Then, look at Gaga, the #1 artist in 2009 and 2010, now out of Top 40 just over a week after lead single release.
However, with Adele I am confident. I assume her next album will sell 10 million pure sales ww. Hopefully, it will be streaming day 1.
The advantage that Adele has over those artists, though, is that she appeals to a much larger demographic, and her music is timeless. Trust me, given how well 25 has done (especially following up such a massive album), she's not going anywhere for a while, thank God.

Was he specifically talking about WUTB, or was he unclear on what track they'll choose for the 4th single?
He commented in the Water Under the Bridge HAC non single thread on that forum. so its very clear that the upcoming 4th single is "Water". He meant to say of some stations referring to specifically HAC ones.
