Yes. Xenophobia, hatred and unnecessary shaming of people who belong to several ideologies does exist, and I do condemn it. People of the Muslim belief just happen to be one of many.

If anything, I see the modern world hammering Christianity far more often that I see them being "Islamophobic" (but that's just a baseless personal observation), yet I never hear anything about "Christianophobia" being a thing. Conservatism is under fire at every second of every day (for a lot of good reasons, don't get me wrong ) yet we don't hear anything about "Conservatismophobia" being a thing.

The majority of the illogically-far left has been treating Islam as separate from any other ideology. They've been treating it as one would treat a race, a gender, a sexuality. The reality is, it's just another ideology that gets bashed severely.

The only difference is, when cartoons are drawn making fun of conservative leaders, they more often than not refrain from bombing the newspaper where the cartoon was published. When a filmmaker makes a video criticizing Christianity, they more often than not refrain from going out in protests in the MILLIONS on the complete other side of the world, advocating suppression of freedom of speech and seeking death upon the filmmaker, also causing 50+ deaths throughout the protests.

A good chunk of self-identifying Muslims (I believe it's a majority) can't handle modern civilization, they can't handle freedom of speech and expression, they can't handle women living freely however they wish - wearing whatever they wish, they can't handle people of the LGBT+ community integrating into society.

I will NOT censor my views for a fear of getting labeled as an "Islamophobe", I will not suppress the things I've seen for nearly two decades from this Islamic side of the world. Like I said, there are laws and standards in place to protect people from racial, physical and verbal abuse. Otherwise, expect Islam and many Muslims to be under constant attack, at least until the laws of the modern world are changed in attempts to turn civilization into third world Islamic hellholes.

I literally have never verbally acknowledged it in real life. It's very much a taboo to many people. People claim any group they don't like are "shoving things down their throat" or "in their face", including LGBT+ people fighting for their rights, when they just want to silence them. In fact, you coming into a thread called Atheists & Agnostics Hangout and proclaiming that you feel atheists are smug and that you'd feel lost if you were one would also be considered being in your face by many.

You know what i mean. If I'm talking gay marriage with religious people who oppose it I can't just say "Ya'll are backward as **** & ignorant". it's more like "I feel like it's a bit hypocritical and unfair deny gay people rights."

Lots of people do it, it makes what you're saying sound less biased and more neutral.
