Religious people asking for proof is hilarious when they are supposed to abide by faith

How about the fact that two of every animal couldn't fit on a ****ing boat? Not to mention that the chances of all of these species being able to repopulate with just two members is extremely low .

I actually just the other day heard a religous person say being gay was wrong cause GOD!!!1111 and then say people aren't born gay because there is no proof in the same paragraph.
Like, now you wanna be a skeptic? Now you don't believe what you're told?

Actually, unicorns are actually a lot more believable concept then an invisible all powerful being that knows the past, present, future and controls the world

Oh I've definitely seen atheist people get mad/annoyed for sure. Also although you make a valid point, you still however have no evidence to suggest there isn't a god so lets not act as if you are 100% certain you are right, because you're not I guess this is me making an argument for an agnostic point of view
Anyways the only reason I like to point this out is because I find some atheist people to be extremely hypocritical since they like to act they are all high and mighty and belittle other people for their beliefs.

It's not on us to disprove something that likely doesn't exist in the first place . I could say that 6-winged dragons who live inside volcanoes, breathe fire and have a lifespan of 400 years exist. Not many people would take that serious though .

There are pretentious people on both sides who will get angry and condescending, that's a given.
Also, I'm aware there is no 100% proof, but I don't really get agnosticism. It's saying "I don't know" when the truth is nobody knows. It is true that there is no way for us to know 100% but that doesn't mean that we can't feel one side is a more realistic position than the other.

In the end, I believe we all have one life and we should chose to spend that life filled with love, compassion and consideration. You should be able to believe in whatever you chose and not be belittled for it.
But that seems like a stretch to ask for.

You can't equate what you just said to something that is trying to answer why anything exists in the first place.

I don't get your point. You just said that agnosticism states "we don't know" and you then go on to say "nobody knows", so are you just not affirming agnosticism is correct? Yes we will never know 100% for sure, so lets not act as if you are 100% right on your position and belittle other people's beliefs. Also, I agree that people will levitate towards the side they like more, I do the same, but acknowledging uncertainty is needed in the conversation IMO.

I agree People should respect each others' beliefs on this matter and stop trying to belittle the other side when they don't even know for certain if they are actually correct.

Sorry, i wasn't clear in my post. I kind to acknowledge that there is uncertainty and that agnostic is the *correct* position. However, i feel as though if you feel one side is more likely, then you shouldn't just claim agnostic. You can be agnostic atheist, or an agnostic theist btw, i feel like people don't recognize that.

Assuming there is a God just because you can't prove otherwise means you also have to worship all the Greek Gods, the Sun, Allah, cows, and don't forget ASDFGH (another hypothetical creature that I just made up, I claim it's real and should be worshiped).
It's literally RIDICULOUS to worship a figure because "how do you know there isn't one"
Now please, go back to your Christian thread where you type 10 posts in a row without people replying to you, instead of crying about homosexuality in a forum overflowing with Queers left and right.

So you're saying that a persons brain is programmed/forced to only be attracted/romantic towards the opposite sex? I didn't know my brain is suppose to tell me that my attraction of the same sex is wrong and incorrect! COOL! And don't even bring the bible into this. I want science. Biology. Anatomy. Intelligence. If you mention god or the bible as your defence, I'm not even gonna answer back

I had my first conversation about being a non believer to a guy I went on a date on. I know not the best time to have this come up. He was so upset that night and couldn't sleep and did research as I told him to do because he was adamant he could prove me wrong. He probably even prayed for me.. Smh.
The next time we hung out He told me he couldn't prove anything. He had changed. No I don't think he is a non believer but since inception..he's been programmed to believe a certain thing but not allowed to think for himself. He seems more at peace with himself as a struggling gay man. I told him my goal was never to make him become atheist but for him to be logical and do his own research. I told him jokingly I corrupted you to which he just smiled.
