The Chart Show doesn't give you any sales increase - it's just like normal airplay. Rude Boy was on the chart show as well since it was #2.

The chart show gives you an increase coz they interviewed him and they talked about the song and stuff.

What I dont get is what they see in that song.... its not even catchy

Interviews on the Chart Show have never given anybody a rise (Marina, Mini Viva, Kesha, Sugababes etc). Chart Show isn't exactly prime-time promo.
You can't attribute the rise to anything - the only fact is that it did indeed increase its sales.
