mindtrappa kinda confirmed that it wasn't exactly autotune she was complaining about, but the pitching in her vocals which is evident on even songs like TEOG, Paparazzi, etc.
But seriously, y'all are basic as ****. Who really wants their fave to use autotune in 2016. Yes, Katy is awaiting new stans tbh.

I feel like she's so hands on with her work that she would have approved that? I don't really see why her label would order the producer to change a songs pitch when she has deep sounding vocals in BR and Dope?
It's not the fact that I'm desperate for autotune, it's the fact that she went from knowing she was talented and using autotune to her advantage, to thinking autotune is a bad thing and ruining her artistry. I'm not in anyway saying she NEEDS it, but if it's gonna benefit the sound of a song, like the ones I mentioned in my previous post, then why not? I don't think any less of her for using autotune cause I know she can sing without it.
Well, BR is favourite Hillary song, the time Gaga performed at Association of Bill Clinton Hillary Clinton danced to it, so it makes sense for Gaga to perform a song she likes.

She was promoting C2C for this interview and we all know she exaggerates about her previous albums when promoting her current. Thing is, I'm not attacking her, she's my fav obviously, i'm just annoyed that she went from 'pop music will never be low brow' to giving the impression that she thinks pop music is low brow.

Well, Autotune is a plug-in that fixes the pitch, there are instruments with a built in autotune for live performances like Gaga used in this particular performance
Filters on the other hand have been used in songs like Pokerface (Robotic voice)
Heavy Metal Lover (Layering of 2 separate lines that are sung in 2 octaves, Reverb, Echo and a lot of other filters i don't know by names, especially not english names)
MJH, DWUW, basically every other song of hers.
Autotune has a specific purpose, one which is mostly used to correct horrible singing or if you're particularly crafty to create a unique effect combined with a synth in which your voice is processed to follow the particular chord you're playing with your hand
