I'd like to know what the original concept for the Grammy performance before Bowie died was suppose to be. Like how does the yellow jacket shoot, the head piece, the black body suit shot etc have to do with anything? Was it all scrapped for a Bowie tribute instead? Because Bowie died after they announced Gaga for the Grammys.

Maybe those outfits (headpiece and yellow jacket) were only for the promotional shoots and clips for before and after the performance. I don't think it was heavily used because the focus ended up to be for Bowie, but at least we got one of the commercials for it.
